Poenamo Hotel Redevelopment

GMC Architects provided the architectural design and monitoring of construction for the Poenamo Hotel Redevelopment. The project was run and built by Sampati Holdings Ltd.A major site within an established hotel use located on the North Shore of Auckland.

The client was looking to maximise the redevelopment of the site with a mixture of retail, restaurant, hotel and residential apartments.

The project required the Architects to work closely with Councils, Urban Planners, and the client.

A successful design solution was achieve with Resource Consent granted for 250 apartments and hotel, with retail and restaurant uses incorporated within the final approved project.
