243 Rosedale Road, Albany

GMC Architects provided the architectural design and monitoring of construction for The 243 Rosedale retail and motel complex. The project was run by J & B Auckland Ltd. and built by Marounz Ltd.

This project comprised retail units with a mix of restaurants, bakery, convenience store, spa/ health shop. To the rear of the retail units was a 30 room motel and restaurant with outdoor swimming pool. The project required the design team to maximise the site with buildings and car parking integrated. These requirements were met and exceeded. The retail centre is 100% leased and provides an easily accessible neighbourhood shopping option for the surrounding residential area.
