The Lofts

GMC Architects provided the architectural design and monitoring of construction for The Lofts retail, office and life/work precinct. The project was run and built by Cornerstone Group Ltd.The Lofts comprises a mixed use development of ground floor retail shops and large signature restaurant fronting the main street.

The building front has been built to integrate with the public pedestrian access. Car parking for the site is placed behind and to the side of the retail units thus allowing a better public integration. The upper level of the retail units comprises a women’s gym and health centre. To the rear of the site a series of 17 three level ‘live and work’ units have been constructed. These units face onto a landscaped reserve.
